Calibrate

Use the

buttons to move the cursor to the “Option” menu.

From this menu, use the

button to place the cursor on the “Calibr.” option.

Press the Operate button. When the submenu

opens, use the

button to move the cursor to the “Calibrate” option.

Now press the Operate button, and calibration will

begin. The instrument will first call for the black

standard. Place the instrument on the black

standard and press the Operate button.

A beep will indicate that the measurement has been

completed.

Now place the instrument on the white standard and

press the Operate button.

For gloss calibration, place the instrument on the

high-gloss standard and press the Operate button.

If calibration was performed correctly, the message

Calibration OK

will appear on the display. The instrument returns to

the previous measurement mode.

Use the test with the green standard again to

determine whether the calibration was performed

correctly.
