6.2.2 Determination of Film thickness

Switch on the illumination. The microscope eye-

piece shows a 2mm long micron/mils scale with

100 line markings, the cut appears under the

microscope according to the pictures, depending on

the cutting angle. Place the Zero mark at the start of

the cut and count the units.
